Pharmacy pricing dominates policy agenda, but little real action has occurred so far

Ocrevus Zunovo can be administrated by providers twice a year with a 10-minute subcutaneous injection. There is no word yet on when Ocrevus Zunovo will be available or what the price will be.

David is also a member of Managed Healthcare Executives’ Editorial Advisory Board. During the discussion, he shared the OptumRx Quarter 2 Drug Pipeline Insights Report of 2020. Some of the information shared includes the three notable drugs currently being reviewed or those that have been recently approved by the FDA. Also discussed were any interesting industry trends to watch for.

The FDA has identified a probable case of serious drug induced liver injury that occurred in a woman in the United States who had received Veozah. The agency is requiring additional liver blood testing after starting therapy.

Tremfya, a monoclonal antibody that blocks IL-23, is also approved to treat patients with plaque psoriasis and active psoriatic arthritis.

If approved, neffy would be the first new delivery method in more than 35 years for small children.
