Percentage of adults with access to PPO/POS and HMO, 1998-2001*

*The percentage of adults with access to PPO and POS plans through their employees increased substantially between 1998 and 2001 to more than 49 percent. During the same period, access to more restrive HMO plans decreased to 38.5 percent
