Amy B. Mansue
Inspira Health recently announced the Network’s Board of Trustees has appointed Amy B. Mansue as the new president and CEO, effective September 1. She will succeed John DiAngelo, who announced his intention to retire in January following his 20-year tenure with the organization.
“This decision comes at a monumental time, yet our vision remains unchanged: transforming health care delivery in our community through our commitment to patient care, education, technology and innovation,” says Ron Rossi, chair of Inspira Health’s Board of Trustees. “The linchpin to making that vision a reality is leadership to guide our direction, and Amy will lead us into a new era for our patients. I want to thank former chair Mike McLaughlin, as well as the entire board, for their thoughtful consideration throughout this process to ensure a strong successor.”
John DiAngelo, retiring president and CEO, said he and the board and are confident that Mansue is the right person to build on the company's momentum.
“She is a seasoned leader with significant experience working in healthcare, operating efficiently at scale, and delivering value to our patients and our communities. Inspira is lucky to have her as its next CEO,” DiAngelo says.
Currently, Mansue serves as EVP, Chief Experience Officer, of RWJBarnabas – the largest, most comprehensive academic health care system in New Jersey, with more than 34,000 employees, 9,000 physicians and 1,000 residents and interns.
The system includes eleven acute care hospitals with a service area covering nine counties with five million people. Her expertise, combined with her spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, will accelerate the driving force that has made Inspira Health an outstanding provider of patient care and innovation.
“As a result of the dedication of its Board of Trustees, talented and compassionate executives, physicians, nurses and staff, Inspira Health has built a tremendous tradition of improving the health of the people in southern New Jersey,” says Mansue. “I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Inspira Board of Trustees for this incredible opportunity. John DiAngelo and I have worked together at the New Jersey Hospital Association for many years, and I know how proud he is of what has been built during his tenure. I am honored to be joining the Inspira team, and look forward to guiding them through the next chapter of the organization’s growth.”
