A recent recall of generic warfarin tablets was expanded to include 6 other drug products prepared on the same packaging line.
The manufacturer, Upsher-Smith Laboratories, added to the recall 28 lots of 16 different products packaged from May 17, 2010, to November 17, 2010, in addition to the NDC# 0832-1214-00 lot with an expiration date of September 2012.

Only a single batch of 3 mg Jantoven was included in the initial recall after 10 mg tablets were found in a 3 mg bottle sold at a retail pharmacy. Upsher-Smith said that affected products from both recalls were distributed to wholesalers, retailers, and independent pharmacies throughout the country. The company has informed customers and wholesalers that it will arrange for the return of any product involved in the recall.
